Visiting Paris during Christmas is a magic experience, not only because of the unique atmosphere of the “city of love”, but because of the winter traditions of the city. One of these traditions is the ice skating.
All along Paris, there are different ice-rinks set to let people enjoy a fantastic time on the ice. The access is free and you just need to rent the skates if you don’t own ones, although they just costs around 5€.
This year, there are about 5 ice-rinks in Paris, placed next to the Hotel de Ville, the Eiffel Tower, Santa’s Village (Avenue des Champs-Elysées), the Giant Ice Rink at the Grand Palais and Charlety Stadium “Snow Park”.
Most of the ice-rinks will close the next January, but the one at the Hotel de Ville will remain open until March, so you will have the chance to enjoy it after Christmas as well.
